OPEN TO ALL AGES!
The Kelowna Canadian Italian Community has been in existence since 1966, continuing to invest in and foster a place for Italian Canadians to gather, and share their heritage. Our club and community has a wide variety of successful events and programs. We are excited to announce the launch of our newest program - Italian Folk Dance Classes! It is very important to our club to provide access to many of the fundamental aspects of our culture and heritage, including language, cuisine, and now dance. Italian Folk Dance is incredibly beautiful, and has a rich history in our culture. We are very pleased to now provide classes in Italian Folk Dance, taught by resident member Tascheleia Marangoni, an Italian, and professional dancer. Classes begin in the spring and are open to everyone and anyone who is interested in learning more about this amazing dance form. Long term, Italian Folk Dance classes will run year to year from September to June.

It's time to reintroduce and embrace our traditional dance once again with this generation!

MEET OUR INSTRUCTOR - TASCHELEIA MARANGONI
Tascheleia Marangoni is a professional dancer & artist who resides in Kelowna, BC. She began her studies in dance at the age of 3, and boasts over 46 years of training and experience as a dancer, instructor, choreographer, studio owner, performer, and producer of dance from over twenty genres, including classical dance styles, and cultural dance, focusing on her passion for Dance Ethnology. |
