🍇 La Vendemmia Harvest Luncheon & Grape Stomp 🍇 remains one of KCIC’s most popular events – and this year was no exception. We had another incredible turnout, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make it so memorable.
🍹 Special thanks to our amazing Bartender Don, who was busy whipping up delicious drinks all day – his spritz is simply the best!
🍽️ A big shoutout to Chef Alessandro and his talented team for curating a street-food-style menu that wowed us all – the bocconcini fritti and salmon bites were to die for.
And let’s not forget Steve, who grilled the skewers to absolute perfection – juicy, flavorful, and finger licking good!
Of course, no meal is complete without Maria’s Nonna’s Venetian Apple Torta – moist and decadent.
🙏 A heartfelt thank you to Joe Monna who chaired the event and to all the wonderful volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes:

• A special shoutout to Brenda J., who stepped outside her comfort zone to coordinate our groups of grape stompers - well done 👏
• Jill – our social media manager, who ensures our website is always up to date with the latest and greatest! 👌
• Les - Joe’s neighbour who kept the music and energy flowing all afternoon. 🎵
• Leo, Rosann’s kind neighbour, who generously provided the speakers for our MC 🔈
🍇 And of course, to our PARTICIPANTS – thank you for bringing the fun, laughter and entertainment. It takes real skill to stomp all those grapes!

Vendemmia Harvest Luncheon & Grape Stomp was a huge success!
We had a fabulous turnout with warm sunny skies, fantastic food and wonderful company! Joe and his incredible team worked hard once again to set up, harvest and transport the grapes to the clubhouse and prepare the event. Josie and her cooking team prepared and served a scrumptious harvest lunch of Pasta e Fagioli, Chicken Cacciatore con Polenta and vegetables. No Italian meal is complete without Italian gelato! We wish to thank our participants for their hard work as it takes great skill to stomp all those grapes! We thank you for the laughs! Grazie a tutti! Committee Chairs, Joe, Josie and Maria |
