You can't get much more Italian than Guido Cocomello.
Come on - with a name like Guido Cocomello, how could you not be Italian? Born and raised in a quintessentially Italian family in Montreal, Guido never realized how strange some of the cultural quirks and traditions he grew up with might seem to non-Italians - or "mangiacakes". That was, until he married one and saw his world through her eyes. From that - and as a tribute to his father who passed away 10 years ago - he found the inspiration to create the hilarious and poignant one-man show: So I Married a Mangiacake. The show has played to rave reviews and standing ovations across Canada. Now the Kelowna Canadian Italian Club is proud to bring it to the Mary Irwin Theatre. |
