With the many events and activities we organize and present, as you can imagine, volunteers contribute a great deal of time, knowledge, enthusiasm and passion. Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow members, share in camaraderie and have fun whilst providing a much needed service to the club. VICE-PRESIDENT & DIRECTOR(S)
Our board members play an essential role in guiding the organization’s direction and ensuring that we remain accountable to our mission. We need individuals who are passionate, dedicated, and able to contribute their time, expertise, and ideas. We currently have our Vice President seat open and two Director's seats.
CHEF / HEAD COOK
We are looking for one or more qualified chefs/cooks to lead our monthly Trattoria Dinners. These dinners are held at the clubhouse for approximately 100 guests. There are other smaller events throughout the year that a chef/cook is needed.
TRADES
Volunteers who are familiar with/ certified in the trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting are needed to assist with small projects around the clubhouse.
FUNDRAISING / EVENT PLANNING
A number of annual events could use some help with planning. Please reach out to President Mary Bazzana for more details [email protected].
KCIC VOLUNTEERS HONOURED - SATURDAY, JANUARY 18, 2025
The KCIC Clubhouse was the setting for a beautiful evening where our volunteers were honoured for their dedication during 2024. Also in attendance were some very special guests to our Club, the spouses of members who are no longer with us. Many of these members were original members who continue to carry forward their dedication to those whom they have lost.
The evening started with opening remarks from Mary Bazzana (KCIC President) who welcomed the guests and thanked them for their dedication over the past year. A delicious meal was prepared and served by Ricardo Scebba and his team. Closing remarks and messages of thanks by Tina Vigilante - Volunteer Co-ordinator.
